Founder's Story

With the vision of bringing fresh and authentic teas to every tea connoisseur in India, the late Mr. Dhanraj Golecha established Paras Tea in 1988 – a legacy that’s continued in Bangalore for over 33 years. With very little funds in his pocket, he started Paras Tea with limited stock. Right from blending, packaging to delivering it on his Luna at every door step, Dhanraj Golecha built the brand single handedly from the ground up. From the upper hills of Darjeeling and Assam, he aimed at bringing the best quality of teas at economical prices.

Tea Masala, our specialty, is power packed with the freshest and organically sourced spices like cardamom, ginger, pepper, clove, nutmeg and cinnamon – sun dried and milled at the local flour mill. Tender plucked tea leaves with feminine agility, 100% natural with no added preservatives or additives. An extensive tea tasting process is adopted to identify the different characters of teas and procure the finest quality. The best liquor is filtered guaranteeing strength and flavour to each cup. Teas are machine blended in the most safe and hygienic way, packaged with zero human involvement, the whole process is carried out with proper care. The time gap between processing and shipping is kept minimal to ensure only the freshest tea is delivered to our consumers.
